Show visitors who else is interested

Problem:

Many website visitors are looking at offers but they are not purchasing.

Cause:

Visitors do not feel they should act right now, they postpone the decision for later.

Solution:

Show a notification of how many other visitors are interested in the same offer, making them aware that they should decide quickly.

Deliverables:

• Set up tracking for product pageview with ID attribute (event view_item).
• Create report to list top products.
• Create personalized web layer notification (reads value from the report).
• Set up JavaScript code to show web layer (with product ID parameter) on the product page.
