Sports e-tail requires agility, teamwork, and speed
We knew we had to do 3 things: provide cost savings, coordinate with the client to ensure a smooth transition, and deliver the product promptly. Speed was important, but we had to make a seamless transition to the Exponea product. Structured emails and informational videos helped.
Content-wise, it was about comprehensive emailing with on-event triggered campaigns, a high degree of personalization together with product recommendations, and the ability to connect this emailing with website personalization
Sportega has tens of email templates and email HTML blocks which allowed us to change the common parts efficiently. This, combined with event-triggered campaigns, resulted in very powerful personalized emailing.
The Pilot took 2 months- The campaigns were up and running in a month, and then we finetuned the final touches and processed additional requests.
The final score?
22% cost saving vs their previous solution, 17x cheaper scaling of email campaigns, and a savings of 3.5% of their total revenue
Sportega already had a very good idea of what they want to do. Therefore, we focused on delivering value quickly and how we could best leverage all Exponea features to introduce new functionality into existing use-cases, especially around product recommendations and connecting email with website personalization.
