Webhook Speed Limits

Webhook Speed Limits

Why: Webhook is a common option for integration with 3rd party services in Exponea. The 3rd party services might have throughput limitations. If the maximum number of parallel requests is exceeded, your system may slow down or stop working. Make sure that you don’t exceed these limitations with Webhook Speed Limits.

The throughput of Webhooks depends on two factors:
1) The speed of your service and its response time to Webhook request
2) The number of parallel requests that Exponea creates to your service

 

How it works: With Webhook Speed Limits you can manage the number of processing jobs on the Exponea side. Once you set the maximum number of processing jobs you can estimate the throughput by hitting the Test button when Exponea creates a small number of requests. The estimated throughput is calculated as the metric requests/second and requests/minute.

Please note that the number of processing jobs is different for each instance and ranges between 1-15.

  1. New financial symbols —  new currency symbols help you to better format financial numbers in your reports and metrics. New supported symbols are: Kč, zł, Ft, rph, ₽, kr, CHf.
  2. New aggregate type — (most common) — find out the most common information on your customers (e.g. most common product category, most common product color).
  3. Emails UTM parameters — UTM parameters support Jinja.
  4. Weblayers — fix —weblayers from the same group are now organized alphabetically.

Predictions Templates

Predictions Templates

Create advanced prediction models with a few simple clicks with our new Prediction Templates.

Why: Using predictions may not be the easiest task for a person without a data science background. At the same time, predictions are a very powerful tool, enabling you to target your marketing campaigns more precisely and only engage customers with a higher probability of completing certain actions (e.g. email open, purchase, etc.).

For this reason, we decided to introduce the Prediction Templates which will enable anyone within your company to create and use advanced prediction models as a part of your marketing campaigns.

How it works: Just open the prediction module in the application, pick one of the 5 templates, specify the time frame, and generate the desired prediction. Once ready, a new attribute holding the prediction value is assigned to each individual customer.

This enables you to use the predictive data to target customers with an elevated conversion potential.

The prediction value is recalculated every time you use it to ensure the most accurate prediction.

Available Prediction Templates

Purchase Prediction – a probability of purchase within a specified period of time

Open Email Prediction – a probability that the customer will open the email

Optimal Send Time –  find the best time to send your emails for every single customer

Churn Predictions – a probability that the customer will leave your business

In-Session Prediction – a probability that a customer will achieve a selected conversion goal during his actual session

For more advanced users, there is still the possibility to create a custom prediction.

Custom Prediction – predict if a customer from an eligible segment will match a custom target condition.

Potential Use Case

Use a Purchase Prediction to assign a probability of purchase to each of your customers. Segment your customers with the highest probability of purchase, and target this segment with retargeting, email, or web optimization campaigns.

Two-Step Verification

Two-Step Verification

Why: we added two-step verification to provide an enhanced protection of all the data contained in Exponea. The second authentication step eliminates any vulnerabilities associated with single-step verification (password only), like phishing, theft, or accidental loss.

If your password becomes compromised and two-step verification is enabled, your customer data in Exponea is still protected by the additional security layer.  Currently, we support authentication via the Authenticator APP. It is a simple and very effective method of protecting your data. You just need to download the Authenticator App, generate the authentication code, and enter it directly into the Exponea App during the login process. We highly recommend two-step verification for all our users.

New Customer Profile

Why: the new Customer Profile provides a one-stop location for your customer service teams to immediately understand each individual customer. The new Profile contains the most important e-commerce, personal, and event-related customer data. The layout is displayed across three separate screens, making it easy to navigate around different groups of data.

Overview –  personal and e-commerce data

Properties and Events – records of all events associated with a specific customer

Consents –  data related to the unsubscribe and marketing communication policy

Overview

The Overview page displays all personal and e-commerce information you need to know about a specific customer.

Personal data – contact/basic info, key predictions, key segmentations.

E-commerce metrics – items viewed (number), purchases (number), revenue, last order/campaign.

Visualization of product data – the profile can display the last viewed,  added  to cart, and purchased products of a specific customer.

Properties and Events

This screen displays all the data related to customer identifiers,  properties (attributes) and events. Any customer property can be changed directly on the screen. The update includes a new event filter that enables a search using multiple events, event attributes, values, and time.

Consents

With the new Consent screen you can now easily revoke all consents with a single click.

Note: the best possible experience with the new Customer Profile requires using our Data Mapping and the functionality of our new Catalogs.

New Catalogs

Why: This feature allows Exponea to understand catalog data, simplify and enhance advanced features, and improve the overall experience with the application.

New catalogs will enable faster updates and inserts into your catalogs, and ensure better stability of the application. You can now also match pre-defined catalog labels (e.g. price, brand, size) with the naming conventions in your catalogs, which will help  Exponea understands your product properties. As a result, product recommendations will be more accurate.

The new catalogs now provide the possibility to pick up to 20 catalog columns, which will be searchable (indexed) and available in recommendations, and will allow you to use our upcoming features, i.e. Inventory Management.
