CSM job description:

Business Consulting:

  • Analysis of clients’ needs.
  • Proposing solutions and helping clients make strategic decisions based on data inputs prepared by analytical consultants.
  • Responsibility for delivering solutions and managing a team of analytical and technical consultants.
  • Detailed understanding of solutions, and ability to defend them in client meetings.
  • Testing customer behavior hypotheses: from formulating them to applying them with the objective of boosting the client’s business.

 

Relationship Management:

  • End-to-end relationship management. Regular online (chat, Skype, Hangouts) and in-person communication.
  • Discussions with C-level managers from global companies across e-commerce industries
  • Regular client visits and relationship building.

 

Project Management:

  • Prepare extremely agile projects that can bring value even to big corporations within 2-3 months of launch (Success Stories). 
  • Present campaign results to clients/board, and evaluate projects.

 

Your other tasks:

  • You will make sure consultants prepare enough hypotheses and campaign proposals to deliver 2-3× more value than our platform and consultancy fees.
  • You will collect feedback from clients, and discuss their plans with them. You will combine these findings with the product team so we can steer Exponea development in the right direction.

What we expect of you:

  • In-depth knowledge of business and business trends, and the ability to understand clients’ business models extremely fast.
  • Experience of leading teams and projects or pursuing own business (ideally B2B).
  • Familiarity with the following emerging sectors (the more the better) – online analytics, BI, performance marketing, product management, marketing automation, data science, A/B testing, personalisation, campaign optimisation, automation, customer lifetime, e-mailing automation, reactivation, customer segmentation, attribution modelling, prediction
  • Motivation and willingness to become a professional user of the Exponea platform – you need to pull off 2-3 projects as a Customer Analytics Consultant and become proficient with Exponea to qualify as a CSM. Typical candidates qualify in 3-6 months, but only you decide how fast you get there.
  • Advanced knowledge of English. You will manage an international team of consultants and communicate with international clients on a daily basis.
  • Ability to understand and actively use analytical concepts to identify which stage the business has reached, which KPIs are crucial for decision-making and which metrics the business is based on.
  • Basic understanding of algorithms is an asset. You will not do any coding yourself, but familiarity with programming languages (e.g., JavaScript) and understanding how they work will come in handy.
