Oliver Bonas created new emails that were personalized to each customer segment, additional marketing to opted-in segments, a reminder email, and featured products that were left in each individual shopper’s abandoned cart. A great strategy for retargeting customers and increasing conversion.

But that isn’t all Oliver Bonas accomplished in its first seven months with Exponea. It launched an email preference center to best connect with customers when the time was right for them and ensure that emails would have the most impact possible.
Since implementation, 512 subscribers are currently taking a short break from receiving emails, 3.6k more chose to receive the monthly emails only, and an additional 284 opted to receive weekly emails. These choices were all made in lieu of unsubscribing to all communications from the company.
The email preference center has allowed Oliver Bonas to increase customer lifetime value by allowing consumers to receive communications on a more personalised schedule.
“Our new email preference center gives subscribers looking to unsubscribe alternative options to customize their email frequency and increases our retention,” said Sinead O’Callaghan, Retention Executive for Oliver Bonas. “We’ve already seen a big uptake for these options.”
